From the garden-themed tableware set. Painting on the brown clay is a bit of a change... It's rougher than the white clay, and painting fine lines is more difficult. But I'm happy to expand my palette with white underglaze.

Meet Theia

 She's named after Theia, Greek goddess of shining light and things that sparkle. That's Amaco "Saturation Gold" glaze on her body. Swanky!

Koi lantern

Shino glaze over glossy black (which was wiped off in some areas and waxed in others)

I think I'll enter this in Coyote Clay Co's glaze contest. Wish me luck!

Turtle and goldfish jar

 Here's another one.

Goldfish pond at the Lake Erie Nature Center in Bay Village.

A bunch of turtles live there too.

Frog and toad (are friends)

 In progress. The jar is fairly small, about the size of a grapefruit.
